Well, it's been pretty quiet on here lately. So we're opening the doors and inviting artists to submit work to the blog, some pieces may also be featured in the book itself (space allowing!)
Originally we only had work from comic artists and although this is still our main focus, we are now inviting artists from all disciplines to join us and contribute their own take on the Horny Biker Slut theme.
To submit a pin-up or to ask us some questions, either leave a comment or email askpressATgmailDOTcom.

Horny Biker Sluts is scheduled to go on tour next year. We still have some spaces left for comic artists, so if you haven't submitted your work yet, hurry up!!! If you think we've overlooked a superb artist who'd like to take part, please suggest them to us.

HBS book made an appearance at the P.R.E.S.S. April event ( http://pressukinfo.blogspot.com/) , and was well received (of course!)

Deirdre, who is responsible for the epic tome, will be giving a talk at Sunderland library on the 19th April from 6.00pm , all about bookbinding. Go along, and don't forget to ask about HBS!

I'll start putting up snippets of artwork soon, but we don't want to reveal everything!
You'll have to track down the book on its travels to experience the artwork in its full glory.

Thought Bubble 2009

We had a good response at Thought Bubble in Leeds a couple of weeks ago and found some wonderful artists who are keen to contribute. Next display / deadline date looks like March next year. We're looking for more events and stores to show the book at, so please get in touch if you know of any, or if you'd like the book to come to your town why not suggest it to your local comic store?
